Книга в Ухе

Книга в Ухе is a Mac app for listening to audiobooks from knigavuhe.org and saving them on your computer.

The catalog sorts books by genre. You can search by title, author, or series, or paste a link to a book. Either way you get the same page: cover, summary, narrator, length, and comments from other listeners.

You can start listening before the whole book has downloaded. The app remembers where you stopped and the playback speed. If the files are already on disk, it plays those instead of the stream.

While one book downloads, you can keep looking and add the next one to the queue. If the connection drops, the download continues from the same place, not from the start.

Sign in with your account on the site and the app shows your shelf and your listening history. The download itself is an ordinary Mac app: Apple has signed it, so you open the file and macOS installs it without extra steps.
